Bigpoint Inc. is looking for an experienced
Unity3D Programmer (m/f)
to join the team at our new North American head office in San Francisco.
Job responsibilities:
  • You will contribute to the development of large-scale, browser-based MMOGs using Unity3D.
  • You will actively participate in the technical planning, architecture design and implementation of our games.
  • You will be responsible for implementing cutting-edge solutions in areas including: networking, graphics, physics, audio and graphical user interface programming.
  • You will work closely with our Unity3D team in Hamburg, Germany.
Your qualifications:
  • You are a skilled programmer with exceptional creativity, knowledge and experience.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent training and experience.
  • You are a focused problem solver and a team player who can also work independently when necessary.
  • You have at least two years’ experience working in the game industry and have completed at least one game using Unity3D or other 3D game engines.
  • You are fluent in either C++ or C# and have a good understanding of 3D mathematics.
  • You have a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and test-driven development techniques.
  • You have experience working with source control systems such as SVN, CVS or Perforce.
  • You are fluent in both written and spoken English and posses excellent communication skills.
Bonus qualifications:
  • Experience developing MMOGs and/or networked multi-player games.
  • Experience working with Linux and the Bash shell.
  • Experience using PHP and MySQL.
